I guess being watching a movie starting at midnight in a theatre might be interesting. . . if you could stay awake for the whole thing. (I guess that you really did, though.) It might also might be interesting that if the actual movie started at midnight at the movie theatre's time, but maybe according to a watch it started five minutes before midnight, and so one could say that both yesterday and today the watched a movie in the theatre.
